Electronic Waste


Examples of electronic waste (E-waste) include:
  • All Computer Peripherals Including Monitors, Keyboards, Mouse, Printers and Faxes
  • All Computers
  • TVs

City Garage Collection


As part of the new solid waste, recycling and yard waste contract the City has signed with Tri-County Industries, effective August 1, 2014, residents may now take their electronics to the City Garage, located at 5250 Virginia Road. Collection hours will be held every first and third Friday, year-round, from 7 a.m. to Noon. If you have any questions about what type of electronics can be recycled at the collections site, please view E-Waste (PDF).

Other Locations


Please call the site in advance of drop off.
  • Best Buy in Niles and Boardman takes flat panels and tube TVs 32 inches or smaller.
  • Goodwill takes all types of electronics and will take flat panel TVs, not tube or console TVs.
  • Staples in Hermitage takes all types of electronics for disposal, except for TV’s.
