Electronic Waste

Examples of electronic waste (E-waste) include:
  • All Computer Peripherals Including Monitors, Keyboards, Mouse, Printers and Faxes
  • All Computers
  • TVs

City Garage Collection

As part of the new solid waste, recycling and yard waste contract the City has signed with Tri-County Industries, effective August 1, 2014, residents may now take their electronics to the City Garage, located at 5250 Virginia Road. Collection hours will be held weekly, year-round on Friday from 7 a.m. to Noon. If you have any questions about what type of electronics can be recycled at the collections site, please view E-Waste (PDF).

Other Locations

Please call the site in advance of drop off.
  • Best Buy in Niles and Boardman takes flat panels and tube TVs 32 inches or smaller.
  • Goodwill takes all types of electronics and will take flat panel TVs, not tube or console TVs.
  • Staples in Hermitage takes all types of electronics for disposal, except for TV’s.
