Tax Rate Set for 2019

Seal 450 x 450

"City residents’ property taxes will remain unchanged under Hermitage’s 2019 budget.

Last week, Hermitage Commissioners unanimously adopted a 2019 spending plan that keeps property taxes at 5 mills., the city’s rate since 1991.

A property owner with an assessed property value of $30,400, approximately the city’s average, would have a yearly real estate tax of about $150 a year. A mill equals $1 for every $1,000 in assessed property value, which was set in the early 1970s."
