Rotary Club of Hermitage
Community Involvement
Hermitage Rotary was founded in 1954. Members are proud to serve our community and the world, by awarding two scholarships yearly to local high school students, donating money/assisting other service organizations and help beautify the city by planting flowers at East State Street and Shenango Valley Freeway. Each year, Rotary sponsors two high school students to attend leadership training. Upon successful completion, they receive Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. Rotary provides dictionaries and anti-bullying bookmarks to hundreds of local school students. Members help to clean a section of Hermitage Road, host exchange students and support the Rotary Foundation. Past service projects in Hermitage included construction of a ramp to improve building access at MCAR Inc. and an information kiosk across from Buhl Farm Casino.

Rotary Motto
The Rotary motto is, “Service Above Self.” We strive to live by the four way test which asks the following questions: Of the things we think, say or do, Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? Want to help?Support
