Work to replace a bridge on East State Street (Route 3008) in the City of Hermitage, Mercer County, is expected to get underway April 1, 2019, weather permitting.
When construction at the bridge starts, the two eastbound lanes of East State Street will be closed in the area immediately west of the intersection with Wick Avenue, and eastbound traffic will be diverted onto one of the westbound lanes.
Work involves replacement of a 15-foot-long, structurally deficient bridge on East State Street over a branch of Pine Run. It will be replaced with a reinforced-concrete box culvert.
Traffic is expected to be limited to one lane in each direction using the westbound lanes from April 1 to June 14, 2019.
