Penn State president Dr. Eric Barron christened Penn State Shenango's VenturePointe this morning in Hermitage. The venture provides startup resources for profit and nonprofit companies.
A $50,000 seed grant provided by Invent Penn State, a commonwealth-wide initiative to spur economic development, job creation and student career success, made the suite possible.
On hand to cut the ribbon were Dr. Jo Anne Carrick, campus director at Penn State Shenango, as well as local leaders, students, and entrepreneurs.
