The City of Hermitage is hiring for the following positions:
Environmental Operations Coordinator in the Hermitage Water Pollution Control Department. Derives local limits for industrial facilities; fulfills annual EPA and PA DEP industrial reporting requirements; performs sampling of industrial facilities; inspects and monitors industrial facilities; issues industrial discharge permits; conducts property on-lot investigations and testing and inspects components of absorption area, septic tank, dosing tank and sewage line components, inspects components of small flow treatment systems, assists property owners in resolving on-lot system malfunctions and files necessary reports with proper authorities. Qualifications include minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field. Excellent benefit package, salary DOQ.

Finance Supervisor to assist the Finance Director in the maintenance of municipal liens, oversight of delinquent accounts, and management of City benefit programs. This position provides support for financial management reporting, administers insurance and risk management programs and oversees accounts payable, accounts receivable and utility billing services. The successful applicant must have knowledge of accepted accounting principles, excellent communication skills and the ability to use computer word processing and spread sheet software. Minimum associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school in a related field of study and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
